The show has two stages (located at the very centre of Virtual Reality Show London) – these are a place to discover all that this incredible tech has to offer, and learn from some of the hottest names working in VR today. The Show Stages are open to all ticket holders. They will showcase a wide range of applications, with facts & figures, real-world case studies and product demonstrations that give attendees a unique insight into the latest cutting-edge developments… as well as a glimpse at what the future holds for VR technologies.

SATURDAY 22 APRIL — STAGE 01

11:00—13:30: INTRODUCTION TO VR

If you’re new to VR and you’d like to get a clear picture of the current state of the technology, this conference session is designed with you in mind. 13:40—16:30 GAMING CONFERENCE

THE GAMING CONFERENCE will examine the current race to develop gaming-ready systems, headsets and controllers, and the role major brands have to play – specifically with Playstation VR and the due-in-2017 Microsoft Scorpio machines positioning VR as a viable platform for mainstream gaming. Speakers will discuss the tech that is presently available and soon-to-arrive, address the current state of VR gaming, give short and long-term predictions for the future of the gaming industry and also examine the opportunities for alternative monetization, with a focus on eSports as an emerging field which is filled with incredible potential. THE ART CONFERENCE will introduce VR as a new medium for artistic expression, delving into the immense possibilities for creativity. 14:10—15:30 FASHION CONFERENCE

THE VR FASHION CONFERENCE will address the current state of VR tech within the fashion industry, its applications for creating virtual shopping environments, avatars for clothing design and development, and even exploring the crossover with wearable tech and conductive clothing materials, which begin to blur the line between the clothes you wear and the devices you operate.
